WEEK 9 2021
Last Week- Sun- Mon- Tue- Wed- Thur- Fri- Sat- Next Week
Saturday - Nice weather.
Off to Ojai with S, to meet up with R & K who were up in the valley visiting his Grandmother, and visited her dad. We all had a nice visit, and lunch at Bocalli's. I wasn't hungry again until late evening after their meatball sandwich - delicious!
There was a nice full moon rising when I walked down to get my mail in
the evening.
Friday - Another beautiful day.
Went for a nice walk, a couple of miles.
I still haven't worked up the courage to use the ingrown nail kit. Needs to be done though.
Thursday -
Wednesday - Reasonable weather, rather nice.
G and I are working away on prepping for the walkway to wrap around the garage. It's a lot of work.Tuesday - Typical summer weather...in February.
Received a text from S that the sewer line at her office was clogged with roots. We'd repaired it a few years ago, and salted the earth around it with salt and poisons, but it's hard to keep roots out, particularly the huge elms that she has in her yard.
Her handywoman tried using a snake, but it needs more than a half-horsepower motor apparently, and a real plumber has been called...
Monday - Just another windy day in the Antelope Valley. High wind warnings through tomorrow evening. Up to 50mph.
The dirt outside looks weird - all the fines have been blown away.
It could be worse: a big storm is hitting Texas and other midwest places and they are enduring rolling blackouts during a blizzard. And I think, the northwest.
Started working on the taxes. As usual it's annoying, things that should be simple turn hard. Preliminarily though - I owe.
There was a help desk call from S in the early evening, where an Adobe Premiere project that was working fine on Sunday was no longer openable on Monday. After a bit of research we found an Indian programmer video on YouTube that carefully talked you through editing the corrupted *.prproj file with...Windows Notepad. Yay! for ancient ascii editors!!
Sunday - A normal winters day.
Bobs old cat, Xeno, is hanging in there. He preferred my lap to Bob's.
