Saturday - a cold, overcast, and
blustery day. Just like last week, but I'm 350 miles south.

Friday
- cleaning up around the place, having brought stuff down from Martinez
and up from Ventura. Tiring. There is a lot of stuff to be moved about,
and laid
out.
Phoebe, in a typical napping pose, with about only 1/3rd of his
magnificent obese-ness in the sun...

Thursday
- a half days work, then off to Lancaster. The weather is
deteriorating, rain expected in the next few days.
No chance to view Mars. I need new eyepieces - the ancient Celestrons
aren't much. Robert Bruce Thompson had some pointers, I'll have to go
look back at his blog. I remember when Ortho's and Plossl's were
considered wonderful - and well out of my price range.
We are wrapping up another, lesser, report. Sent it off to the database
guy anyway. The big report is awaiting feedback on the draft delivered
last week. If we don't get any, then it goes in, pretty much as is
(though with some big appendices).

Sunday
- on the road, late, down to Ventura. I sold a piece of furniture,
sight unseen, to somebody and had to deliver it to them in Nipomo. No
sense in going to Lancaster after that, just power on down to Ventura.
Arrived just before 2am.
It rained the whole
way, and took me about 9 hours....
