Friday - Veterans Day!

OTR.

I stayed overnight at the boat, since traffic was so horrible by the time we got done with work, then packed up and headed back to Lancaster in the late morning, feeling a bit better than I have in weeks.  This dental infection has really been dragging me down.

Thursday - OTR.

Still inspecting.

CB and I finished off all the available stuff in Westlake.  There are a couple of suites that can only be accessed next Friday - surgery centers and the like - so CB will do them while I am up in Lancaster getting my dental work done.

We should have some mid-week stuff over near Lake Sherwood, Tim is coordinating that for us.


Book #55 was Ninth Euclid's Prince, by Daniel Hoyt.  It didn't really grab me, but was OK for a first effort and the price...

Wednesday - OTR. 

Started inspecting stuff with CB at a parcel with five large buildings.  Very warm.

Incredibly Donald Trump has won the election.  Solidly, convincingly, and massively, with no questions about hanging chads or whatnot. When I woke up and casually checked the news on my phone I discovered that Hillary Clinton had already conceded. Huh.

I wasn't a huge Trump fan, but felt Hillary was also terrible candidate in general, and certainly a law breaker for the email/national security stuff, but I didn't expect her to actually lose...

I guess it was a surprise to pretty much everyone.

Tuesday - OTR. 

I met up with the client's rep, and we did some more audits for suites that were in use on Monday. Then I did some "cold calls" on a couple of other nearby properties on the inspection list, and made full use of the commute.

Horrendous traffic going out to Westlake from Ventura in the morning.


Election Day 2016 was just a working day for me (I early voted on Saturday).  In the early evening we were back at the office and some early results were coming in, but I was too tired to pay much attention.

Monday - OTR.

I drove down to Ventura, picked up my equipment and documentation, dropped off other stuff at the boat, then drove out to Westlake to meet up the the District's manager and a clients representative around noon. 

The rest of the afternoon was taken up with inspection of a couple of properties.

Sunday - Warmish.

I feel a bit better, the tooth isn't quite as painful as it was - better AB's I guess.
