Friday - A nice day. I wish I was ready for painting.

Thursday - Another nice day.

Did some more caulking.

I was looking for a replacement motor for the 1950's era Craftsman table saw.  Ouch.  $125 and up.  I wonder if it just needs new brushes or something.  I'll have to see if I can find a manual, it's been decades (junior college) since I took a course in 'Electric Machines' and I've forgotten how to test them.

A beautiful sunset, since we had some high clouds.

Wednesday - Nice weather.

I had my dental visit today - ow.  It is not at bad as I feared, but not pleasant.

Went home and sacked out afterwards.  My neighbor made me soup for dinner.

First time in years I haven't been over to Roger's for Halloween, but I just wasn't up to it.  I hear they had a good display and a good turnout of kids.

Tuesday - Nice weather.

Working on the house, caulking and patching. I picked up a 12-pack of caulk tubes while shopping Sunday, from Lowe's, next to WinCo.  Already made a dent in the box.

Monday - Nice weather.

Took a nice walk in the morning.

Sunday - Cool in the morning - wool shirt weather, again, for a few hours. 


I did some shopping.  I forgot and left my garage door open.  Cats and valuables were still present when I returned, maybe the neighborhood is OK after all.


Crucial claims I can upgrade the ram in the little touchscreen, but looking online they have TWO touchscreens with the SAME model number, one is upgradeable, one isn't. I feel that it sort of defeats the purpose of a model number when you use the same one for different hardware.


Not too much going on, just various household chores.
