Saturday - As I said, the house looks good, and there were just a few chores to do. I slept in late and had lunch with friends at the Thai Cafe.


I did try to do a bit of app work in the afternoon, but mostly just napped. Friday really took it out of me...


In the evening I went over to my friends and we watched a documentary on whales, and a movie: Kingsman: The Secret Service, which was...odd. Amusing though.

Friday - OTR.

A long day. From about 7:00am to 5:30pm. It isn't supposed to be that long, but there were some issues in the field, and the contractor was hustling to maintain a schedule, so...

Not quite as hot and humid as earlier in the week...

And I got the boss to buy me lunch, so all in all a good day.


After work I showered, rested a bit, then headed back to Lancaster. There was a stop in Fillmore for a burger and a brief nap, but I was home in Lancaster by mid evening. The place looks good, and the cats seemed less traumatized than last week.

Monday - OTR. Down in Ventura again. Hot work.

Sunday - Hot in Lancaster, about 100F, but the humidity is low enough that the swamp cooler can handle it.

I did a bit of shopping with S in the morning, cleaning supplies mostly. Also a bit of food and veggies for the Ventura place.

I also did wash, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, and some other chores that needed doing.


No app work, since it's there's so much to do.


Tim sent me a picture of his girls soccer team playing. It was only 89F and 43% humidity in Escondido, yuck.
