Saturday -Average hot.
I went into town and had lunch with R&S, my treat, and showed R the new truck. He liked it.
Unfortunately lunch, at Red Salmon, had some bowel liquefying effects, ugh. I felt a little better in the evening.
Friday -Hot.
Not much to say, working away on various things. Did a shortish walk in the morning.
Thursday - Hot again, 103 or so I think. And kind of humid.
I like to do yard chores and my walk in the mornings, but it's been tough to do anything afterwards.
There was obviously a fire to the northwest, but no reports on CalFire or the LA County Websites.
As fire seasons go, this has been (so far) a surprisingly low number of fires.
Wednesday - Hot.
Doing some reading, trying to work on the app, but the house and office is just too warm.
Tuesday - Hot.
I went by the library and picked up a DVD of "The Last Ship", but I still haven't watched it yet. For one thing I don't have my DVD player hooked up. For another, still working on The Expanse Season 1.
Monday - Labor Day. Hot.
I didn't do much, some chores around the house mainly. I went to
the neighbor's for dinner: possibly the best spare ribs I've ever eaten. I
stuffed myself.
Sunday - Horribly Hot. Supposedly 107 or so.
I didn't do much, too darn hot.
Book #33 was Pass Of Fire (Destroyermen #14) by Taylor Anderson. This is, as the title states, the 14th in the series. I enjoyed it, but there wasn't much new, just more battles on land and water.
