WEEK 29 2020
Last Week- Sun- Mon- Tue- Wed- Thur- Fri- Sat- Next Week
Saturday - Hot.
Kind of dragging today, for some reason.
Friday - Hot.
Root canal in the morning. Yay. It went pretty well actually, but another hour and a half in the chair...
Thursday -Hot.
You'll note that "Hot" above is run together with the preceding "-". This is because Blue Griffon has decided to eliminate white space that it doesn't think appropriate. So even though I put it in BG then takes it out, unless I do it twice! Very annoying. Sometimes I remember to fix this, sometimes I don't...
I've ordered some decent marine/astronomical binoculars, I'm tired of the $35 crap that I've been using.
I was a bit dubious of ordering through Amazon, then saw it was fulfilled by Adorama anyways. That's fine, I've ordered directly from them and B&H without any problems before.
Wednesday - Hot.
If he was still with us this would be Dad's 97th. Hard to believe it's been 11 years and more since he passed.
Tuesday - Hot.
Submitted taxes, via TurboTax. Yay!.
Monday - Hot.
Working on taxes.
Sunday - Still hot.
The dogs are reasonably well behaved, every once in a while there is a spate of barking for no particular reason and the barker breakers go on for the rest of the day. If there is a reason, horses going by, or someone walking their own dogs, that's OK(ish). Since every dog in every yard that I pass on my walk barks at me I consider turn-about to be fair play.
Khronos and Angel love to dig, the yard looks a bit like the surface of the moon. Krypton, on the other hand, could care less. He does like to fetch, so at least 3 times a day we play fetch with a tennis ball, until he decides he's had enough and takes the ball into the kennel with him. Say about half a mile of fetching, on a warm day... Heh.
One thing that G and I had done was to put chicken wire around the trees
and the edge of the garden fence, held down with bricks. I'm glad we
did, there were a few nearby dog holes.
Preparing for taxes: this year I made sure to put all the important documents are in a single manila envelope, easy to access. If I could only find it.
