Saturday - A beautiful day.

I went down to check on the boat, after some yard chores in the morning.  It's been a while, and Dave had checked on the exterior, but I wanted to make sure things were OK inside.

And they were fine. Dry and tight.

Everyone, and their brother, and their brother's dog was down visiting their boat.  Soooooo noisy.  I almost left it was so obnoxious, but it calmed down around 6:30pm and I got a decent night's sleep.

Friday - Working away on stuff.


Book #12 was At the Sign of Triumph (Safehold #9), by David Weber.  The good guys finally win.  Weber doesn't really wrap things up - he kills the main psychopathic bad guy, but quickly and without fuss at the end. 

Kind of a strange ending, really.  I think he may just be tired of the whole series...
