 Photo Notes: Continuing last weeks thread of just screaming along, here is the X-15 ship III replica at Dryden. I took this picture several years ago. The original ship III was destroyed in a crash in the 1960's.

 Photo Notes: I don't feel up to searching the archives for a photo tonight, so here is a shot of my painting cap. If I had not been wearing it lately, my hair would be that greenish color now.

 Photo Notes: The first new bay area suspension bridge in many years, the Al Zampa Memorial Bridge opened this weekend. Well, sorta, kinda. Workers apparently were ordered to work overtime to allow a opening by the outgoing governor, but, despite his ceremonial 'opening' and the allowing of masses of foot traffic it still isn't ready for automotive traffic! )

Photo Notes: The modern airliners have little teevee screens that they play movies on, and also plot the route and such. Here is a shot of a flight coming back from England, at the tip of Greenland. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to Godthab!

 Photo Notes: The city of Chester, in England, was one of my favorite places. I walked all the way around the old town on it's wall. Here is a shot looking down from gate through the old english wall, onto the foundations of the much older Roman gatehouse! It's interesting how streets and thoroughfares remain the same over millennia.
